Test set for the determination of the breakdown voltage instantaneous value of insulating media, especially for monitoring the insulation gas quality of insulation gas-filled switching installations, consisting of a high voltage generator in the form of a press-knob operated piezo element and a breakdown voltage indicator in the form of a glow lamp. The outputs of the piezo element can be applied to a spark-gap in the insulation gas space of the switching installation. The press-knob actuated piezo element generates a high voltage pulse which, in the case of insufficient insulation gas quality, generates a strike-over on the spark gap and leads to a display of the glow lamp. |
