PURPOSE:To arrange a sound insulating means at the part of a copy ejecting port in the case of covering an entire image forming device with a sound insulating member so that inside noises are prevented from leaking to the outside in the image forming device using an electrophotographic copying process. CONSTITUTION:As for the sound insulating means for the paper ejection port 5 of an electronic copying machine 1, a sound shielding roller 20 and an ejecting port sound shielding plate 10 are arranged between an ejecting port guide 12 and an ejecting roller 6. A sound absorbing material 11 is stuck to the sound shielding plate 10 on the side in the machine and a friction decreasing member 13 is provided between the roller device 20 and the plate 10. The noise exhausted through the guide 12 is shielded by the sound shielding roller device 20. By driving the roller device 20 by interlocking with the ejecting roller device, a paper is easily ejected. |
