An interchangeable vehicle body (1) equipped with flanged wheels (12, 13) is moved from a trailer (2) to a tractor (4) and backwards with the aid of an apparatus, which includes a power machine (5) located on the tractor, a power transmission member (8) located on the rear of the tractor, and a reception member located on the end of the trailer, which can be brought mechanically into contact with one another by reversing the rear of the tractor (4) against the front of the trailer (3) and which apparatus includes a transfer mechanism connected to the power reception member (9), located on the trailer, in which there is a transfer member to move the interchangeable body (1). The transfer mechanism in accordance with the invention includes a hydraulic motor (10) and a hydraulic cylinder (14) operated by it, which is arranged to move the transfer member (16). |
