PURPOSE:To provide a process for producing a light-weight inorganic building maternal containing shirasu (pumiceous sand) balloon without causing the shrinkage, deformation and cracking in the curing of the formed material. CONSTITUTION:The objective light-weight inorganic building material is produced by compression molding a non-slurry powder mixture composed of shirasu balloon, water glass and water glass hardener, and maintaining the formed product under constant temperature and humidity condition (30-60 deg.C and 30-80%RH) for 1-5hr in the initial stage of the curing reaction. |
