PURPOSE:To provide a safe inorganic nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which a charge current is difficult to flow even in the case of an erroneous charge so as to prevent generation of a gas sue to decomposition of an electrolyte and explosion. CONSTITUTION:In an inorganic nonaqueous electrolytic battery in which an oxyhalide is used as the solvent of an electrolyte and a positive electrode active material, lithium is used as a negative electrode active material, and a positive electrode potous body is opposed to the negative electrode through a separator, the contact area with the positive electrode porous body of a positive electrode current collector/the positive porous body weight is made equal to 0.5 cm<2>/g, whereby a non-conductive film is provided on the positive electrode current collector surface by charge to minimize the charge current. |
