PURPOSE: To provide an anesthetic evaporator by which an anesthetic of a specific density having about 20 deg.C of boiling point under the atmospheric pressure, can be supplied to a patient. CONSTITUTION: An anesthetic evaporator particularly used for an anesthetic of low boiling point, comprises an inlet 2 for carrier gas, and an outlet 4 for carrier gas and gasified anesthetic. The first passage 6 is extended between the inlet 2 and the outlet 4. In the passage 6, a flow limiting device 8 is positioned. The second passage is extended between the first passage 6 and an adjuster 14 at an upstream position of the flow limiting device 8. The adjuster 14 controls the pressure of the gasified anesthetic flown through the third passage extending from an evaporation chamber 12 storing the anesthetic, to the first passage 6 at a downstream position of the flow limiting device 8. A flow rate control valve 28 is positioned in the third passage. |
