PURPOSE:To shorten re-conversion time and to reduce image deterioration by performing re-conversion encoding considering a compression history when the recording of a decoded reproducing image is performed by applying re- working such as image processing and character impose, etc. CONSTITUTION:A re-working position detection circuit 14 which detects the block position of a field when a video signal reproduced once is reworked and recorded is connected to an image processing device 11. The output of the detection circuit 14 is inputted to a control circuit 15 which controls a change-over switch 12, and the switch piece 12a of the change-over switch 12 based on a re-working position signal is connected to a switch contact 12b, and when a non-working block position is detected, the switch piece 12a is connected to a switch contact 12c. In such a way, it is possible to shorten the reconversion time, and to reduce the image deterioration. |
