PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the system by providing long steering time even at high speed while considering the responsiveness of various guide sensors at the system to guide a vehicle according to markers arranged beside a road. CONSTITUTION:A sub sensing system 32 getting the unbroken view in front of the vehicle according to the marker system arranged in the length decided in advance of the road, converters 14 and 12 converting information radiated or reflected from the markers to data showing apporoximate values decided in advance along the road, and a vehicle controller 12 detecting the position of the vehicle based on the apporoximated route and to guide vehicle based on the apporoximated route are provided. Then, range to 'get the unbroken view in front' is changed corresponding to the vehicle speed or the like in respect to the above-mentioned approximated value. |
