<p>PURPOSE:To enable the input coordinate of a vibrating pen to be detected with accuracy higher than even, by correcting the time value of a difference between the peak positions of an envelope in a pulse group, to the time value when a pulse with the maximum peak level in an elastic wave is detected. CONSTITUTION:Correction in a propagation delay time for the maximum peak level position (c) in the pulse group is set as 0, and the correction in the propagation delay time for the maximum level position (c) in the pulse group is set as -(0.25X1/f). The correction in the propagation delay time for the maximum peak level position (b) in the pulse group is set as +(0.5X1/f), and the correction in the propagation delay time for the maximum peak position (b) is set as +(0.25X1/f). Thus, by adjusting a correction value to the time value when the maximum peak level in the pulse group is detected, the accuracy can be improved by the time value of a minimum 1/4 times one wavelength of phase velocity.</p> |
