PURPOSE:To provide a highly reliable direct electrostatic recorder which is unlikely to fall in impossibility of recording by preventing toner from accumulating on an aperture electrode. CONSTITUTION:A toner cleaning electric field is periodically formed between a reference electrode layer 22 of an aperture electrode 20 and a toner carrier roller 11 by a toner cleaning power source 6. Thereby, toner which is not always taken off from the aperture electrode 20 only by an excitation means is electrostatically removed. Consequently the toner comes not to be accumulated on the aperture electrode. |
