PURPOSE: To obtain a camera having a shutter device and capable of easily photographing the object of a different type even in a short integration(exposure) period and also performing display with higher accuracy and fidelity. CONSTITUTION: A main shutter blade 9 and an auxiliary shutter blade 10 are attached to the same shaft, and the aperture of an angle (α) corresponding to the minimum length of the exposure period of the pickup area 16 of an image sensor, is separated by the main shutter blade and the auxiliary shutter blade, and part B of the pickup area substantially exposed more so than the other part A, that is shielded later by the main shutter blade 9 is at least partially shielded more by the auxiliary shutter blade 10 during a short exposure period.
