PURPOSE:To prevent a short-passing phenomenon of a material to be kneaded, uniformalize kneading and improve the quality of products by forming weirs on the inner surfaces of the bottoms of chambers corresponding to the discharging sections of kneading shafts in projecting shapes in a double-spindle type continuous kneading machine. CONSTITUTION:Two kneading shafts 4, 4' are arranged in parallel into a chamber 1, one end thereof is provided with a feed port 2 for a material and the other end thereof with a discharging port 3, and feed sections 41, 41', kneading sections 42, 42' and discharging sections 43, 43' are formed to each kneading shaft 4, 4' respectively. Weirs 6, 6' are made up on the inner surfaces of the bottoms of discharging chambers 13, 13' of the chamber 1 in the discharging chambers in projecting shapes. Thus, a short-passing phenomenon of the material to be kneaded is prevented and kneading is uniformalized holding the effects of a double-spindle type continuous kneading machine, and the quality of products can be improved. |
