This device consists of a channel section (2) exhibiting a U-shaped cross-section, capable of sitting over the edge of the door and of being inserted between the door post of the door frame (case) and the hung door, one of the flanges (2c) of which channel section is cut out at (5) and acts as a housing for a wedging cylinder (3) which, articulated in an off-centred manner about an axis (4) parallel to the longitudinal axis of this channel section, is equipped with an actuating and grab handle (7), whilst its other flange (2b) forms a counterpart for clamping. <IMAGE>
