PURPOSE:To improve the design performance of analog watches and to solve the problem of watch illumination, by displaying the time through the use of semiconductor laser rays for at least one of hour hand, minute hand and second hand. CONSTITUTION:Normal metallic material is used for an hour hand 1 and a minute hand 3 and semiconductor laser rays are used for a second hand 4 for time display, and a laser oscillation section 1 is driven and turned with a step motor the same as the second hand for conventional crystal oscillation type wrist watches. Thus, the radiation direction of laser rays is changed one after another for time display. |
