PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE PRODUCED BY RESISTANCE CROSSLINKING OF ALCOHOL SUBSTRATE EXCIPIENT TO BE USED FOR ENDERMIC DOSER AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: To obtain a low-allergic pressure-sensitive adhesive that has favorable skin adhesion (a creep compliance value) and can maintain these physical properties during storage, on use, further even when it comes into contact with the alcohol-based excipient. CONSTITUTION: An acrylate-based polymerizable monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer are copolymerized at a weight ratio of 92/8-98/2, preferably isooctyl acrylate and acrylic acid are copolymerized at a weight ratio of 95.4/4.5 to prepare a pressure-sensitive adhesive copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of 1.2-2.0dl/g. This copolymer is irradiated with electron beam of 5-200kGy and exposed to the alcohol-based excipient used together with the active ingredient in the transdermal delivery device to give the objective low/ allergic pressure-sensitive adhesive made of an acrylate base material with a creep compliance of 1×10<-5> -2.3×10<-5> cm<2> /dyne that is acceptable as a low- allergic adhesive for skin.
