PURPOSE: To provide a system and its method for calibrating the non-uniformity of gain and a phase between I and Q channels of a synchronization detector. CONSTITUTION: A signal is input to a synchronization detector, a receiving signal from its signal and an image signal corresponding thereto are extracted, and a received signal is input to a Doppler filter. The image signal is input to a second Doppler filter, and a first discriminant is formed to form a second discriminant. A phase (ϕ) and a gain error (ρ) are calculated from the first and second discriminants, and first and second calibration factors are calculated on the basis of the phase and gain error. The calibration factor is used and the above phase and non-uniform error are calibrated.
