SHELL MOLD FOR CASTING AND REMOVAL METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide the composition of molding material having characteristic easily removing after casting, and a removing method of the molding material, with respect to the casting of a lost wax mold. CONSTITUTION: A shell mold is usable to the lost wax casting and obtd. from slurry having colloidal silica type or ethyl silicate type binder and ceramic mineral charge containing fused silica and zircon as basic component and contains 70-95% fused silica and 5-30% zircon, by dried wt.%, in the finish component. The removing method of shell mold contains a stage for dissolving into a basic bath.
