<p>PURPOSE:To provide the initial load information transmitting method to prevent the useless transmission of initial load information in the case of error recovery and to improve output processing speed with respect to the initial load information transmitting method which can transmit the initial load information only in the case of restart after interrupting the power supply of an output device. CONSTITUTION:At a system to transmit a data to be outputted at the output device after transmitting the initial load information from a host device while being connected to the host device by a line when the power source of the output device is turned on, the host device is equipped with a means to inquire whether the reason of transmission stop demand signal transmission is power supply interruption or not when a recovery signal is received after the transmission stop demand signal is received from the output device, and the output device is equipped with a means to recognize and store whether the reason is the power supply interruption or not when the transmission stop demand signal is transmitted and a means to answer whether the reason is the power supply interruption or not based on the inquiry. Then, only in the case of the power supply interruption, the initial load information is transmitted.</p> |
