<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize a magnetic tape in its traveling and to reduce deterioration of the magnetic tape less than ever by utilizing a data of an optical data part. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape 6 is traveled over a magnetic read and write unit 3 and an optical reader 5 as the tape is wound around a take-up reel 1 by a motor 7. A required analog input and output signal is obtained by the magnetic read and write unit 3. At this time, the speed of the magnetic tape 6 is stabilized by adjusting the speed of the motor 7 by a control circuit 8 with a comparison made by the control circuit 8 between a signal detected in an optical data part 22 of the magnetic tape 6 from the optical reader 5 and a reference pulse from a reference oscillator 9.</p> |
