PURPOSE:To reduce the time for display processing and to quicken the display by implementing decoding processing only to picture information subjected to linear coding and applying display processing to the picture information resulting from being thinned with 2-dimension coding picture information. CONSTITUTION:Picture information of a reception data decoded by a compression expansion processing section 14 is stored in compression expansion processing image memory 4 and coded again by a codec signal outputted from a control section 17 and subjected to linear coding in response to a thinning rate n/m (positive real number) from EOL+1, subjected to 2-dimension coding from EOL+0, and the result is stored in a coding data storage memory 15. In the case of picture display, decoding processing is implemented only to a code data of linear code processing line from which an (EOL+1) code is detected and the decoded picture information is displayed on a display device 11. Thus, in the case of picture display by the reception data, the time required for display processing is reduced and display is implemented at a fast speed. |
