PURPOSE:To accurately measure the shape of a material to be measured by accurately reading the shape by a line sensor even when the speed of the material to be measured in moving is changed, and comparing it with reference shape. CONSTITUTION:Image data of one line at each position passing a reference position is read by the line sensor 13 synchronizing with a clock signal, and simultaneously, the speed at the position when the material passes the reference position of a moving path is measured by a speed detector, and distance between the image data is calculated based on each image data of one line at each position outputted synchronizing with the clock signal from the line sensor and the speed at each position obtained from a speed measuring instrument by a shape calculation part 19, thereby, the shape of the material to be measured can be calculated. Calculated shape is compared with and referred to the reference shape stored in advance. |
