PARALLEL PROCESSING SYSTEM AND DATA COMPARING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a light-weight and compact multiple parallel processor device which has a high density and has a structure adapted for an air cooling system by including plural picket units having bit parallel processing elements. CONSTITUTION: A multiple parallel picket processor device 510 is constituted as an SIMD(Single Instruction Multiple Data) system provided with plural parallel processors having four SEM E cards 511. Each card 512 is detachably set in a partition 513 for card frame setting. Plural arrays of processing units called pickets enable plural cards to be mutually connected and are inserted to a back panel board 518 having a logic circuit. Processors are controlled in parallel by a common sequencer. Processing elements perform the von Neumann operation simultaneously and independently when a picket line is necessary.
