Digital electronic circuit for arithmetic division - has control circuit with shift registers, to control decimal point position
摘要
A division process is used to operate upon two digital numbers coded in 5211 code with the decimal point controlled by a circuit that has flip flop stages (61-66) together with AND and OR gates. The outputs of the general logic circuit are applied to shift registers (3,4) as clock signals. Outputs are applied to the decimal point register (7) to provide the correct position. The result is transferred to the output stages in 5211 code form. ADVANTAGE - Simplified decimal point control logic.
