A coffee or tea dispensing machine (1) is coupled to a terminal (7) that allows a specific table to be identified by aa entered number. Commands are generated that are transmitted (14,15) to actuate the machine. A control and memory module (13) is coupled between the coffe machine and the register. Selections are made on the coffee machine and the information is stored for use in providing a payment bill by the computer-based register. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides automatic logging of drinks details including charges in cafe or restaurant.
