Cord twister - has bobbin with equidistant slits at the circumference

The appts. to produce a twisted cord, for decorative applications, uses a cord bobbin with at least two slits equally distributed round the circumference. The bobbin is held by a spindle to be rotated. The slits are shaped so that the threads can be clamped in them for the cord, using wedge shaped openings for the threads to be inserted. Finger tines hold the cord threads. ADVANTAGE - The appts. reduces the hand work and time taken to produce a twisted cord
