PURPOSE:To produce soft dry pellets for fish farming, comprising dry pellets with large diameter of >=10mm diameter, having good palatability of fish, readily and in high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A dry pellet raw material for fish farming blended with starch is mixed with an expanding agent, fed to an extruder, the starch in the raw material is made into paste and the raw material is extruded from a die hole of the extruder, having >=10 mm diameter into the atmosphere, expanded and granulated to produce dry pellets for fish farming, having large diameter of >=10mm. Even if a dry pellet raw material for fish farming blended with starch is mixed with high content of fats and oils, soft dry pellets having large diameter of >=10mm and good palatability of fish are obtained. |
