PURPOSE:To suppress generation of a relaxation vibration at the time of rising an output optical signal in a laser diode driving circuit having a differential amplifier and a switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor C1 connected at one end to a ground and at the other to an output terminal OUT* for supplying a modulation signal to a control terminal of a transistor Q1 connected direction to a semiconductor laser LD, of a pair of outputs OUT, OUT* of a differential amplifier A2 for generating modulation signals complementary to each other, is provided. Since a rising time of a driving current to be supplied to the diode LD becomes longer than a falling time, a relaxation vibration is scarcely generated. |
