PURPOSE:To authenticate whether a user is the authenticated user or not at a network when the user of personal communication originates a call from a terminal. CONSTITUTION:The personal communication network is provided with a switching node 4 with an authentication function 5, the terminal 2 capable of transmitting and receiving a signal mutually to/from the switching node 4, and a data base 3. At the time of an access request from the user, an access request signal is terminated and decoded at the switching node 4, and the access request signal is transferred to the data base 3 for requesting to authenticate the user. Subsequently, the authentication is executed between the terminal 2 (or communication user or card) and the data base 3. An authenticated result is reported to the switching node 4 from the data base 3 together with access confirmation to the access request, and the switching node stores the authenticated result in an authentication control function. Henceforth, at the time of the call origination from the user, the switching node confirms the authentication by inquiring of the authentication control function. |
