A stabiliser for a drainage pipe for a sliding roof panel assembly in a vehicle has a clip (6) with spreader supports (8) to secure the pipe inside the hollow section body struts e.g. the roof support pillars. The drains are positioned down the front side pillars of the windscreen and down the rear window side pillars. The circular clip is slid over the semi rigid plastic pipe and is secured by a crimp fold (9). The spreader struts space the pipe away from the strut walls.
