<p>An apparatus for blocking the release of a slide fastener caused by the movement of a slider. According to a preferrerd embodiment, this apparatus comprises a pair of sliders (2, 3) which are provided with a pair of ring-projections respectively (9, 5) and a pair of engaging members (6, 7) as a blocking member for supporting and ensuring the interlocking of the ring-projections (4, 5). A pair of studs (10, 15) are respectively provided upon the engaging members. When the sliders (2, 3), arranged in opposition, are moved forwardly so as to contact each other, for closing the slide fastener, the ring-projections (4, 5) interlock so that the eyes (4 min , 5 min ) of the ring-projections (4, 5) are overlapped. Next, the studs (10, 15) are pushed through the overlapped eyes from opposing sides and engage each other through the eyes, so as not to be removable and not to be easily pulled out. Therefore, the release of the slide fastener, caused by the movement of the sliders, is surely blocked. For allowing the release of the slide fastener, the base of either stud (10, 15) is cut and the other side engaging member is pulled out. In so doing, the engagement members are effectively disengaged from each other. Accordingly, the sliders (2, 3) can be moved away from each other for opening the slide fastener.</p> |
