<p>A rotary feeder (F) for animals comprises a base (1) defining or containing a plurality of food receptacles (10) disposed around the base (1), an indexable cover (3) rotationally supported by the base (1) and having an opening (24) giving access to each receptacle (10) in turn when the cover (3) is indexed. Detachably mounted to the cover (3) and rotatable therewith is a motor drive unit (5) having an output member (42) drivingly engagable with the base (1) and operable, when the motor thereof is periodically energised, to rotate the drive unit (5) and with it the cover (3) so as to index the cover opening (24) in turn from receptacle to receptacle. <IMAGE></p> |
