Circuit board coupling assembly

A printed circuit board (1) upon which are mounted a number of electronic components (4) is provided with a connector strip (5) for electrically coupling the components (4) to respective components (4) on a second circuit board (2) located underneath. The strip (5) comprises a body (8) and pins (9) projecting therefrom. The pins (9) have a stepwise configuration with a first end (10) extending through apertures (15) in the upper circuit board (1) and connected to a second connector strip (6) on the second circuit board (2), a second end (14) extending through the body (8), and a middle portion (12) which abuts the surface of the upper circuit board (1) and by which the strip (5) is connected to the upper circuit board (1) by means of a solder joint (16).
