A synchronous rectifier according to the present invention has improved efficiency due to a particular coordinator of the control signal relative to the applied AC signal. The device has a switch arrangement responsive to a control signal for selectively providing conduction of an applied AC signal. A driver responsive to the applied AC signal is adapted to provide the control signal in synchronism with the applied AC signal. The rectifier is integratable into VLSI "chip" form. |
