PURPOSE: To form a translucent antiperspirant stick for the physical and chemical properties of an antiperspirant. CONSTITUTION: This translucent antiperspirant composition is comprised of (A) 50-95wt.% of an anhydrous carrier liquid selected from volatile silicones, low viscosity silicones, anhydrous monoalcohols, polyalcohols, fatty alcohols, alcohol soluble emollients and mixtures thereof; (B) 5-20wt.% of a metal stearate; (C) 1-25wt.% of an encapsulated antiperspirant active agent and optionally (D) 0.5-10wt.% of a siliconecarboxylic acid.
