PRODUCTION OF POLYMER POWDER

PURPOSE:To provide the subject method for producing a polymer powder having a high bulk density and containing a reduced amount of residual solvents by evaporating and removing the inert solvent from a polymer solution using a simple apparatus and simple operation. CONSTITUTION:The subject method for producing a polymer powder from an organic solvent solution of a polymer is composed of a process for supplying the organic solvent solution of the polymer to a tank 5 equipped with an agitator 2 and a crusher 3, capable of keeping the atmosphere to a state where the above-mentioned organic solvent can be evaporated and capable of crushing the polymer powder while making it flow and the other process for evaporating the organic solvent while brining the polymer solution into contact with the polymer powder flowing in the above-mentioned tank 5 and being crushed.
