PURPOSE:To provide a heat-resistant and flame-retardant composite material having light weight and high rigidity and strength and provide a resin composition for the production of the composite material. CONSTITUTION:The objective epoxy resin composition for a composite material contains an epoxy resin, microballoons, a foaming agent, a flame-retardant and an aromatic diamine.
