EMISSION NOZZLE FOR INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prevent the change of the diameter of a nozzle and the clogging of the nozzle by forming a chemical adsorbing monomolecular film containing fluorination to the surface of the emission nozzle for an ink jet recording apparatus to form an air layer with constant thickness. CONSTITUTION:An air nozzle 2 is bored in an air nozzle 1 formed from an electric insulating material and an ink nozzle 3 is also board in the ink nozzle plate 3 made of an electric insulating material arranged in parallel to the air nozzle plate 1 in opposed relation to the air nozzle 2. The protruding part 5 extending in the direction of the air nozzle 2 is provided around the ink nozzle 4 and compressed air is made possible to flow in the air supply passage 6 provided around the ink nozzle 4 from an air supply source 7. In order to prevent the contamination of the surface of the air nozzle 2 of this emission nozzle with ink or a paper powder, a fluorocarbon type chemical adsorbing monomolecular film excellent in oil repellency and antistaining properties is formed to the surfaces of the air nozzle plate 1 and the ink nozzle plate 4 or the wall surfaces of the nozzles.
