PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of a device by a service man in a easier manner. CONSTITUTION:A sample image is formed on a sensitizer 4, measuring the density with a detector 9, and deciding the control conditions including a primary charged current. A grid voltage or the like are determined on the basis of the measured density, and they are stored in a memory 34 in advance. The current and the past control values and standard values are displayed as required on a display part 35. In this connection, such a control can optionally be executed independently of the ordinary sequence. |
