PURPOSE:To provide the process for producing color filters by which the color filters used for flat displays, such as liquid crystal displays and imagers, such as CCD, or color sensor, etc., are efficiently obtained with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:In the process for producing the color filters having colored layers consisting of colored patterns of plural colors and black matrices 14, a photosensitive layer 13 is formed by applying a transparent material which exhibits tacky adhesiveness when exposed on a transparent substrate 12 and thereafter, the black matrices 14 are formed by exposing the photosensitive layer 13 via a photomask having patterns for the black matrices and sticking a concealing powder material to the exposed parts. |
