<p>PURPOSE:To offer a deodorizer which can maintain the deodorizing effect for a long time by gradually decomposing a malodorous component in a normal temp. atmosphere and can be practically used in a small volume, namely to obtain a small-sized one. CONSTITUTION:The deodorizer consists of a first deodorizer 1 essentially comprising oxides of Fe and Mn, and the second deodorizer 3 comprising an adsorbent essentially comprising zeolite and oxides of Au and Fe deposited thereon. The first deodorizer comprising metal oxides of Fe and Mn has a chemical adsorption effect to adsorb sulfur-contg. compds. such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan, etc., on the surface of the deodorizer. Odors of nitrogen-contg. compds. such as ammonia and amines are physically adsorbed on the surface of the adsorbent essentially comprising zeolite.</p> |
