PURPOSE:To detect malfunction with a simple device, by comparing the output of a plurality of monitor buffers if it is mutually in agreement and discriminating it with a buffer control set when disagreement is detected if the result of comparison is effective. CONSTITUTION:Data required for the processing of instruction is stored in instruction data buffers 3 of a plurality of sets, and when the processing of instruction is started, the monitor pattern having specific value to the instruction is produced from a monitor pattern generator 7. The monitor pattern is stored in monitor pattern buffers 8, 22 with the same architecture and with the same control step as the buffers 3 by the control set. The output of the buffers 8, 22 is fed to a comparator 34 to compare if the outputs are mutually in agreement, and if disagreement is detected when the result of comparison is effective to the instruction data, it is judged as malfunction with a logical product circuit 36 consisting the buffer control set, to output malfunction detection signal. |
