PURPOSE:To obtain a flat-type heating element, of which power capacity is large and which can be manufactured easily, by making a heat generating circuit, which is pinched by insulating sheets, of ribbon-type heating element. CONSTITUTION:In a flat-type heating element 10, a heat generating circuit 40, which consists of a ribbon-type heating element 30 made of nickel alloy, is pinched by insulating sheets 50 made of silicone rubber, and lead wires 22a, 22b are connected to both ends thereof. When voltage is applied to both ends of this heat generating circuit 40, the ribbon-type heating element 30 generates heat, and this heat is transmitted to the insulating sheets 50 to be emitted flatly from the sheet surfaces to the outside. Consequently, a flat-type heating element 10 having a large surface area and a high allowable current value is manufactured easily. |
