PURPOSE:To manufacture the above polyester mirror plate of high quality in low cost with enhanced workability and productivity by forming a polyester mirror edge part to the end edge surface of a laminated plate wherein a thin polyester mirror plate is integrated with the surface of a base material by injection molding. CONSTITUTION:A mirror laminated plate 1 is formed by integrally arranging thin polyester mirror plates 3 to both surfaces of a wooden base material 2 and each of the thin polyester mirror plates is obtained by injecting an unsaturated polyester resin composition in a retaining mold having a smooth mirror surface to cure the same. The unsaturated polyester composition to be used is prepared by appropriately compounding an inorg. filler, a dye, pigment, a curing agent, a curing aid and an inorg. fiber reinforcing material with an unsaturated polyester resin. A mirror edge part 8 is molded by inserting the end surface part of the mirror laminated plate 1 in the groove 5 provided with a smooth mirror finish surface 6 of the retaining mold 4 at first and injecting the same unsaturated polyester resin composition as the thin polyester mirror plate 3 in the retaining mold 4 from the injection part 7 thereof to cure the same. |
