PURPOSE:To excellently denitrate a gas even if the concn. of nitrogen oxides in the gas is largely and rapidly changed. CONSTITUTION:The value SV for the concn. of nitrogen oxides at the outlet of a reactor giving a specified denitration efficiency is calculated. When the measured value PV for the concn. of nitrogen oxides at the outlet of the reactor is lower than the SV, the stoichiometric flow rate B of ammonia necessary to reduce the nitrogen oxides supplied to the reactor minus a specified flow rate , i.e., (B-, ), is supplied to the reactor, and the stoichiometric flow rate of ammonia plus the specified flow rate, i.e., (B+ ), is supplied for a fixed time T after the PV exceeds the SV. |
