PURPOSE:To improve the electrostatic charging mainting property of a carrier by coating nuclear particles with a specific coating resin and to prevent the sticking of the carrier on the image section on a photosensitive body and to stably form an image by controlling the electrostatic charge to a necessary amount. CONSTITUTION:The nuclear particles are coated with the coating resin which contains methyl phenyl silicone polymn whose softening point is >=50 deg.C. Also preferably, after the coating resin and the nuclear particles are mixed in a dry condition, the resin is heated and fused and the nuclear particles are coated with it. Thus, the fused application of the silicone resin is attained and the electrostatic charging control is easily operated by increasing the ruggedness on the surface of the carrier. |
