PURPOSE: To provide an improved pipe diffuser and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The extent which individual passages extend inwards in the radial direction is restricted so that the adjacent passage 32 may not cross it substantially. A diametrical inner end is removed through a tangent circle 41 to a leading edge circle 39. As a result, an area which does not include half-vaneless space but a complete vaneless space is formed between a tangential circle and a leading edge circle. The structure which the leading edge is disposed outwards in the radial direction is, however, identical to that of a conventional type. Therefore, the resulting structure is substantially equivalent to the conventional structure in function, however it is possible to attain easier manufacture and more economical. |
