PURPOSE:To provide the semiconductor laser module, used for a same- wavelength two-way optical fiber communication, which prevent laser light from being made incident on a photodetecting element when a semiconductor laser is driven and provides optically and electromagnetically high isolation and can be assembled without any adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The optical collimator is constituted by providing a self- converging lens 5 on one end surface of the optical fiber array 3 consisting of two optical fibers 1 and 2 and also providing a filter 6 on the other end surface and is set opposite the optical collimator constituted by providing a lens 11 to the semiconductor laser 13, and a half-mirror 7 is provided between them. The light projected from the self-converging lens 5 is reflected by the half-mirror 7, reflected again by a mirror 8, and then converged on the photodetecting element 12 through a lens 10. A case 15 is provided with V grooves 24 for guiding the insertion of the optical fiber array 3, semiconductor laser 13, and photodetecting element 12 to fixed positions to enable adjustment- free assembly and the photodetecting element 12 is covered with a shield cylinder 14 to suppress an electromagnetic radiation noise. |
