PURPOSE:To provide high heat resistance while maintaining low-temp. fixability and offset resistance by limiting the mol.wt. distribution of a styrene/acryl copolymer which is a resin for fixing to a specific range and increasing the content ratio of the styrene. CONSTITUTION:This toner has the max. value respectively in a >=1X10<3> and <=1X10<5>mol.wt. range and >=1X10<5> and <=2X10<5> mol.wt. range in the mol.wt. distribution of a gel permeation chromatogram and the range of the mol. wt. distribution is <=2.1X10<5>. The toner body contg. the styrene/acryl copolymer contg. the styrene at >=80wt.% ratio occupying the entire part of the resin as the resin for fixing and the fine powder of silica treated with a compd. having a polymethyl silyl group are mixed and dispersed. |
