<p>PURPOSE: To tune a television receiver to a television signal and an FM radio signal with a single tuner. CONSTITUTION: A television receiver includes a single tuner 102, which is tuned to both television channels and FM broadcast stations. The tuner 102 is operated with a fixed set gain in the FM reception mode. The tuner 102 operates as a first conversion stage of a double conversion FM receiver, and a selfexcited- oscillation mixer circuit 180 operates as a second conversion stage. This constitution is operated with a specific first IF frequency which is not arbitrary.</p> |
