PURPOSE:To enable a paper support with a comparatively higher reflective visual density such as of recycled paper to be printed in high quality color. CONSTITUTION:A color halftone printing process is used for printing an image retainer consisting of a sheet with a reflective visual density of 0.15 or higher. This sheet has a printing ink-receptive white tone enhancement layer which changes the support to an almost white appearance level of 0.12 or lower in terms of reflective visual density, only in an area where the image retainer is printed in color, prior to said color printing process. |
